Altay-Pro base camp

Our base camp is located at an altitude of 1950m above sea level, at the foot of the highest point of the Altai Mountains - Mount Belukha (4506m). The tent camp is set up on the banks of the Kokkol River, three hundred meters away from the Kokkol waterfall.

Alternatively: Ust-Kamenogorsk → Katon-Karagay National Park → the foothills of Mount Belukha → Altay-PRO base camp
Our camp offers comfortable triple tents with double occupancy. We have a kitchen where a chef prepares meals for you and a dining area equipped with everything you need. Vegetarian options are available.
There is a sauna, but you will need to prepare the firewood yourself. You can spend your leisure time in our dome-shaped common area with a view of the snowy peaks, playing board games, and heated with a gas heater.
We provide solar electricity of 220V.
The campsite can accommodate up to 60 people at a time. Every year, we improve the living conditions for our guests. However, it is important to remember that we provide comfortable camping conditions.

The national park is a specially protected area and has the status of a UNESCO biosphere reserve. Therefore, it is important to follow a few rules: Do not pick or collect plants, especially endangered species. Do not scare or harm animals or birds. Fires can only be lit in designated areas. We do not like littering, and we do not like it when others litter. Attention to this is particularly strict.
